#TakeAKnee is a project on the recent controversy in the NFL. We had a debate and my groups take on that we were assigned was that the American public should not be expected to boycott the NFL. We had one day to come up with arguments and make a poster to show during the debate. We had to researchers and two speakers, I was a researcher. We had three main topics that we focused on 

• ​ If they boycott the NFL because they don’t think they are supporting their players they are also going against the actual players who they are trying to help         
•  Most acknowledge the futility of the boycott efforts or note that football is currently as popular as ever     
•  As far as the NFL cares, this issue hasn't come anywhere close to slowing down the league's $10 billion dollar industry

We lost the debate, I was not there for it so I don't know why. I thought our arguments were strong
