SOH CAH TOA:  SOH CAH TOA is kind of hard

 

S= sine Depending on the triangle you use to either SOH, CAH, or TOA. SOA  

O= opposite means that you have the opposite and adjacent. CAH means you have

A= adjacent the adjacent and the hypotenuse. TOA means you have the adjacent and

Opposite but you have them set up differently for TOA and SOH.

C= cosine The opposite means opposite from the unknown angle or angle. The

A= adjacent adjacent is on the line as the unknown angle or angle.

H= hypotenuse

 

T= Tangent

A= adjacent

O= opposite
